It's the time of the year where we like to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. As we look back on 2023, we are amazed just how lucky we are to work with such incredible people who also happen to be some of the best business operators around.
2023 was an incredible year for Time To Pet and for our customers. How incredible you ask? Well, read on for our annual "By The Numbers" post where we highlight some of the most amazing data we saw across our platform!
Well over 3,500 pet care business around the globe used Time To Pet in 2023. That includes businesses in all 50 states and more than 10 different countries. Combined, these businesses generated more than $403,000,000 in revenue last year! You read that right. That is over $400 million!
How did they generate so much revenue? By scheduling a TON of services. Over 14.7 million events were scheduled in Time To Pet in 2023 for over 605,000 unique pets. Think of all the scratches, walks around the block, laps around the fishbowl, and wiggly butts!
Some other data points that really blew us away. First - Pet Care Pros received over $15,900,000 in tips last year! You are reading that right. Pet parents added nearly $16 million in tips to their payments for their pet sitter and dog walkers in Time To Pet last year.
Why so much in tips? We think it has to do with all of the incredibly cute pet pictures and videos pet care pros send! There were over 43,200,000 pictures sent via Time To Pet and over 45,000 minutes of videos shared with pet parents.
