This week’s Friday Feature Focus is on Late Reminder Notifications. Every pet sitter’s worse nightmare is missing a visit. The sinking feeling of getting that phone call or email asking “Did you visit Fido today?” is something that no pet care provider wants to experience. Luckily, Time To Pet has built a tool called Late Reminder Notifications that helps prevent missed visits!

Late Reminders do exactly what you would expect! They remind you if a visit is late. For example — if you want to be notified 30 minutes after your visit was supposed to be marked as complete but was not — Time To Pet can automatically send both the assigned staff member and the administrator an email (or a text) informing them that the visit may be late!

Late Reminder Notifications can be enabled on a service by service basis. To turn this on, navigate to your Services section and Edit the Service you would like to add Late Reminder Notifications to. Late Reminders can be configured based on the time an event was supposed to start or the time an event was supposed to be marked as complete. In the scenario we discussed — if you want to be notified 30 minutes after your visit was supposed to be marked as complete — set the Late Reminder to 30 Minutes After Service End:

Have a great weekend!
