2023 Q2 Feature Recap
For this quarterly update, we’re excited to announce that we have a number of new updates for the Mobile App including support for Badge notifications on iOS, as well as a number of smaller updates for our in-home product. Some of the highlights include tagging on private messages and new filters for client and staff reports. Read on below to learn more!
Ability to Swipe Between Days And Weeks In Mobile App
Our Mobile App team has been hard at work this quarter to make improvements and bring better functionality to both the Client and Staff apps. One of these updates is that staff members now have the ability to use their fingers to swipe their phone screen and switch between different days and weeks from their Schedule screen. While it may seem small, this update is huge in terms of adding more intuitive controls to the mobile app to allow for easier use and navigation while out working in the field.
Support For Badges And Notification Count On iOS
Another update we’re pleased to share regarding the mobile app is support for Badge notifications on the Time To Pet mobile app icon for our Apple phone users (sorry, Android users)! You can enable or disable this feature from your phone’s settings by navigating to Settings > Time To Pet > Notifications, and then turning off “Badges”. When enabled, Badges will be displayed as a red dot on the Time To Pet app icon and display the number of notifications you have waiting for you. Any notifications that you are set to receive as a push notification to your mobile app will be counted toward the total displayed by the Badge.
For more information on Badges and the other notification types we support on your device and how you can view them, please see our help article here: Viewing Notifications On Your Mobile Device.
Pet Photos Visible On Staff App Schedule Screen
Another improvement we have made to the Staff mobile app is adding pet profile photos to the Schedule screen. If a pet has not had a photo added to their profile, a default icon will appear instead. This will make viewing events and distinguishing between multiple pets from the same household much easier.
Tagging For Private Messages
Message Tags give Administrators and Office Managers the ability to label important messages from clients for staff members so that they can easily be organized and found at a later point. Up until this point, tags have only been available for the main Conversation Feed. However, now we are happy to announce that they are also available for the Private Message feed, as well! Messages Tags can be placed on messages from either conversation feed directly from the Messages Center.
For more information, please see our help article here: Message Tags.
Auto Charge Summary Emails For Office Managers
If you have Automatic Charging enabled for your company and your Staff Permissions for OffIce Managers are configured so that “Managing Invoicing” is checked, Office Managers will receive the Auto Charge Summary emails in addition to Administrators. To adjust these settings, navigate to Settings > Staff Settings > Staff Permissions.
New Template Filter For Client Reports
When generating a report in the Reporting > Staff & Clients > Clients tab of your account, you can now choose to filter by clients who do or do not have Templates. If filtering by clients who do have a Template, you can further choose the billing frequency and approval method if you would like to narrow down the list of clients you are looking to propagate.
New Filters For Staff Reporting
In addition to clients receiving a new filter, we have added two new filters for you to use when generating a report in the Reporting > Staff & Clients > Staff tab of your account. You can now choose to filter by staff members who activated their Time To Pet accounts and those who have not.
